Wedding Concierge FAQ
How does this differ from your hourly wedding planning services?
The Wedding Concierge is meant for brides, grooms, and others involved in weddings who don't have the time to handle a project or two, but have otherwise have the wedding under control. Perhaps you need ideas for restaurants or activities for your guests or for your wedding weekend and some help securing those plans. But you have your ceremony, reception and vendors booked for everything else (or you are on your way to that point.) The concierge service would be for you. However, if you are totally out of control, or totally haven't gotten anywhere when it comes to your wedding — a package or an hourly planning program might be for you.
Do I need to be a bride or groom to engage your service?
Absolutely not! Part of the point of this service was to help overworked bridesmaids, stressed out groomsmen and parents hosting wedding related events. Perhaps you are planning a shower from abroad or out of the city or you ladies just don't have the time to set up a bachelorette excursion but you need to get it together. A two or three hour investment split up between you all might make things a lot smoother (and your bride a lot happier). For parents, this is a perfect way to help with the rehearsal, engagement or other event; when you aren't able plan the event or don’t know where to start.
What if I am looking for something specific/unusual?
It never hurts to ask! We're here to take on weird requests that you don't know who else to go to with. Private Museum tour for your wedding guests? …just call! If we can't do it, we'll let you know!
How much time do I need to commit to/are there a minimum number of hours of service?
There is no minimum number of hours, but most projects take at least 2 hours. You don’t need to commit to more than one project at a time.
How long do tasks/errands/projects take?
While each person's specific request can cause a project to vary, our pricing and estimates page will showcase time needed for typical requests. When you contact us for service, you can request a specific estimate for your project at hand.
What if I'm not from NC, but I'm getting married there?
Then this is perfect for you! We are out in the NC wedding scene each and every day and can easily guide you to the right service, location, hotel or excursion for your needs.
Do We Meet Face to Face?
Generally, the details of your service can be arranged over the phone and via email. Some services entail meeting in person to execute the service, in that case we’d meet in person.
